It’s nearly the end of 2020 and I want to share some updates I’ve been working on over the past couple of months - the main ones being an iOS 14 widget and time reporting.
Widgets were introduced in iOS 14 back in September and like many of you I’ve enjoyed having key information from a few apps on my home screens. The latest beorg update introduces an agenda widget showing you todays tasks - both from beorg and optionally from Reminders and your calendar. You can see at a glance assigned priorities and whether tasks are overdue. By default only your beorg tasks are shown. To add calendar events and Reminders long press on the widget and choose to Edit “beorg”.
The other major new feature in beorg 3.8.0 is time reporting. This is part of the Task Timers extension and allows you to quickly bring up daily, weekly, monthly and all time reports for an item and all of its children.
